Kevin hails from Nigeria and spent most of his childhood there. After high school, Kevin moved to England where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 2018 at Birmingham City University. Following this, Kevin returned briefly to Nigeria where he attended the Nigerian Law School and was subsequently admitted to the Nigerian Bar Association as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2019.
Kevin practiced briefly in Nigeria before moving to Canada in 2021 (specifically, Vancouver, B.C); where he attended the Peter A. Allard Law School, University of British Columbia (UBC) and obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) in May 2023. Kevin’s LLM allowed him to obtain a Certificate of Qualification from the Canadian Federation of Law Societies National Committee on Accreditation. He moved back to Grande Prairie where he will complete his articles at a local law firm and was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2024. Kevin’s main areas of practice include family law, civil litigation and corporate/commercial law.
Kevin volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC) to provide pro bono (free) legal services for low-income individuals on matters such as family law and employment. Kevin is also an active member of the catholic community in Grande Prairie. Kevin enjoys spending time with his friends and family during his free time. He also enjoys playing video games (FIFA), watching movies/documentaries and playing soccer (when fit).
